Welcome to SparGPT. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the SparGPT mobile application ("App") operated by UpWeGo BV ("we", "our", or "us"). By using our App, you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using SparGPT, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
SparGPT is a receipt scanning and organization application that allows users to:
- Scan grocery receipts using their device camera
- Extract and store receipt data using OCR and AI technology
- Track spending over time
- Share receipts within household groups
3. Account Registration
To use SparGPT, you must sign in using Apple or Google authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.
4. User Content
You retain ownership of any content you upload to SparGPT, including receipt images and data. By uploading content, you grant us a license to store, process, and display that content for the purpose of providing our services.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any content. Do not upload content that:
- Violates any law or regulation
- Infringes on intellectual property rights
- Contains malicious code or harmful content
- Is fraudulent or deceptive
5. Household Sharing
SparGPT allows you to create or join households to share receipts with others. When you share receipts with a household:
- All household members can view shared receipts
- You are responsible for only sharing receipts you have permission to share
- You can leave a household at any time
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer or copy the App
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's services
- Create multiple accounts for fraudulent purposes
- Share your account credentials with others
7. AI Processing
SparGPT uses artificial intelligence to process receipt text and extract structured data. While we strive for accuracy, the AI may occasionally make errors. You should verify important information and not rely solely on AI-extracted data for critical financial decisions.
8. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, features, and code, is owned by UpWeGo BV and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without our written permission.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:
- The App will be available at all times
- The App will be error-free
- OCR and AI processing will be 100% accurate
- Your data will never be lost
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, UpWeGo BV shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the App.
11. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or us.
You may delete your account at any time through the App's settings.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or by email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Belgium. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Belgium.
